MGR is already adhering to Renault's EDI amendments (November 2021)
posted on 02-12-2021

In 2021, the automaker Renault gathered softwarehouses and supplier companies to announce changes in receiving
the AVIEXP (Advanced Shipping Notice), a process that is part of the automaker's EDI (Electronic Data
Interchange) portfolio. As is known in the automobile market, the automakers have established a communication
channel with their system and auto parts suppliers, providing greater fluidity in the communication about
delivery programs and advance notices of shipment. Fast and effective communication certainly improves logistics,
which in the case of assemblers is highly complex, permeating several areas of the industry: Electronics,
Mechanics, Metal-mechanics, Composites, Plastics, among many other areas. The changes informed were: - The assessment of the AVIEXP quality rating will be made binary.
This means that any type of error results in
a 0 (zero) benefit from the AVIEXP, causing penalties.
- You should consider the following segments as mandatory in the ASN structure:

** QTY + 52; DTM + 132 and DTM + 94; QTY + 52: 10: PCE ': The qualifier QTY + 52 indicates how many parts are
determined in each UC. This information segment what is the rounding of the UC
** DTM + 132: 201207280900: 203 ': Segment DTM + 132 shows the estimated date/time
(format: YYYYMDDHHNN) of arrival of the goods at the destination. That date/time must always be
greater than the date/time informed in segment DTM + 137.
** DTM + 94 ': Production data (YYYYMMDD).

The information is somewhat technical, but the professionals who use this technology understand its request and
its purpose.
In time, it is worth mentioning MGR's pioneering spirit in moving ahead of the process and implementing changes
in its EDI system that aim to support these changes.
These changes will be scored by the automaker as early as
January 2022.
